Christopher has the best Papa in the whole wide world! When Steven talks to Christopher his eyes usually open & he becomes alert. I think it's because Steven used to talk to my belly when I was pregnant. Therefore Christopher recognizes his voice. Christopher came home from the hospital last Friday. Steven had to leave the very next day to go on a mission to Vacherie, LA. This mission is annual and Steven runs it. Therefore, he's had the mission planned for a very long time and people from Virginia were flying in for it. So Steven really needed to fulfill his calling to the people of Vacherie. Steven is such a loving Papa though! He came home to see Christopher and I on Monday & Wednesday. Papa was here to take Christopher to his first pediatrician appointment. Christopher was so good and Dr. Tribou was absolutely wonderful with him as well as us first time premie parents! At the appointment we found out the Christopher hit the 4 lbs. mark! He weighs 4 lbs. 1 oz. We return on Monday, so we cannot wait to see how much more weight he's gained. Christopher is also able to nurse 3 times a day now! Once again, Christopher loves his Papa & you can see how much his Papa loves him back!
